This session will explore research that highlights the challenges social workers face communicating with children in their everyday practice and outline the opportunities open to them to develop emotionally literate relationships with children. Adopting an experiential approach, the session will demonstrate how using a resource specifically designed to promote the emotional and social wellbeing of children can equip social workers to practice creatively and effectively.
